The Temple in Jerusalem or the Holy Temple (Hebrew: Bet HaMikdash) was built in ancient
Jerusalem in c. 10th century BCE and subsequently rebuilt several times. It was the center of Israelite Jewish worship, primarily for the offering of sacrifices known as the korbanot. It was located on Jerusalem's Temple Mount. It was the center of ancient Judaism and has remained as a focal point for Jewish services over the millennia.According to the Hebrew Bible, the Temple was built by Solomon.

It is written in the Jerusalem Talmud “each generation in which the Temple is not rebuilt in its days is as it were, that in which it was destroyed “(Tractate Yoma 1:1).
Nonetheless the jewish sages (of blessed Memory)saw that in the learning of theLaws and the service of the Temple it is as if it were already standing. even though we do not yet merit its rebuilding .

“Scholars who study the laws of the service are considered by Scripture as if the Bet Hamikdash was built in their days “(Babylonian Talmud, Tractate Menachot 111:1).
Despite this, there is a great laxity in the study of this subject ,and it is often of limited appeal.
For this reason  we decided to produce this model of the Temple to draw people to this study and make it easier. Our main intention in the model was to make a design that was both easy to
undertand and simple to build.

Archaeology

The Israeli Gift Store Archeology section, offers you a variety of replicas, collectibles and mosaics for self assembly.

The great thing about these Archeology items is that they are “Conversation Pieces”. Each item has its own unique story behind it, and those are such great things to have around the house.

Among the lamps and jugs you can find replicas of pottery, replicated with great accuracy up to the way they were assembled after they were found. For those of you who collect coins, we have commemorative rare coins that are out of press, a great addition to your collection.

Back in the days, when someone wanted a really fancy floor, they called their contractor and asked for a Mosaic. Today, you can use it as a fun, educational activity to do with your kids.
You can pick any of the images you see on the website: Fish, Birds, Menorah, the Zodiac signs, or you can order the 4 in one set and enjoy hours of quality time with your kids, and have something to remember that time by!

Doko Media's Bible Land Shop looks forward to serving you, your family and your community.

With respect,

The Doko Media Management
